kipling Auction is an Automotive Auction Company based in Jamaica. Our vibrant marketplace is built on a custom technology platform that continues to evolve to meet the needs of our audience.

We are seeking a full-time, enthusiastic, and motivated Auction Account Sales Rep to join our fun and fast-paced environment. The Auction Account Sales Rep must be confident on the phone, eager to close new business, and comfortable placing outbound sales calls. Knowledge in the automotive market and experience in working with auto dealers would be an asset. The primary responsibility of this position is to drive new business, manage key accounts, and continue growing the Kipling Auction division. The ideal candidate will be well organized, responsive, and must collaborate well with team members.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Automotive industry knowledge and experience is required
  • Grow dealer and auction revenue through creative and strategic selling
  • Place outbound sales calls to prospects communicating the value of our auction platforms
  • Work within Salesforce CRM to help develop and manage outbound sales campaigns
  • Field inbound sales opportunities, manage key accounts, identify new revenue opportunities
  • Gain familiarity with all revenue generating opportunities within the Kipling Auto Services family of services.
  • Proactively build and maintain strong and lasting auction relationship that foster increased account revenue, retention, and account growth
  • Remain current with automotive auction and sales trends, market conditions, and competing products and websites
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Abilities

  • Proactive work style with a ‘no excuses’ mindset and focused on getting results
  • Minimum of 3 years proven success in an outbound sales role
  • Ability to plan, organize, and execute
  • Proven record of new business development, by cultivating customer relationships and networking while consistently achieving sales goals
  • Must have strong computer skills and experience working with MS Office and CRM
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)
  • Extremely comfortable placing outbound sales calls
  • Self-starter who works well in a collaborative team environment

Marketing Specialist

The ideal candidate will exhibit high standards, excellent communication skills, and have an ability to take initiative, and prioritize daily tasks. A strong ability to take charge and meet tight deadlines will ensure your success in this multi-faceted role. 

 Responsibility include coordinating with other marketing and sales professionals to implement innovative campaigns for launching Kipling Online Auction. Duties include researching target audiences, recording data from campaign results to add to future reports, and overseeing the company’s social media channels to ensure brand uniformity.
